MI Presents The Orchestra Surréal

On Thursday, May 5, Musicians Institute proudly presents The Orchestra Surréal in a special 5:00pm performance in MI's main concert hall. This zany concoction of 25 daring studio musicians and world-class vocalists is equal parts orchestra, big band and rock and roll band. Diverse musical styles are fused to create an experience that straddles performance art, theater, and music (a combination that captured the 2003 LA Music Awards'"Best Rock Opera of the Year" prize). The message of the show is: If all art can coexist and become more enriched in the process, then so can all people. MI students are in for a unique experience...
