MI Hosts Roland Keyz 'n Beats Summit
| Oct 24, 2009
On Saturday, October 24 from 2-9pm, MI's Keyboard Department hosts the 2009 Roland Keyz ’n Beats Summit. The event includes industry and artist panels, live performances, and hands-on demo sessions with the latest Roland synth and tech gear, including the new Fantom-G. Scheduled Artist Panel guests include Jeremy Dawson (Grammy®-nominated writer, producer, keyboardist of Shiny Toy Guns), Paul Mirkovich (Musical Director, keyboardist, composer) and Eugene “Man-Man” Roberts (Musical Director, keyboardist for John Legend). The Technology Panel discussion will be hosted by Stephen Fortner, Executive Editor of Keyboard Magazine. "This is an event for any keys player who wants to learn more about the newest Roland synthesizer and keyboard technology, and for players who want to hear first-hand about what it’s like to work in the music industry from the music directors, performers and producers themselves,” says Amanda Whiting, Media Relations Manager for Roland Corporation, U.S. Admission to this event is free, but space is limited – click here to pre-register. You’ll automatically be entered into a drawing to win a new JUNO-Di Synthesizer or SP-404SX Linear Wave Sampler. (Note: You must be present to claim your prize)
