MI Adds New Degree Programs!!
Aug 07, 2006

Beginning this October, MI is offering four new Associate degree programs that combine intensive study in bass, guitar, drums, keyboards and voice with specialized training in audio engineering, original music production, music video/film and guitar-making.

The new AA emphases will allow students to combine interests that were formerly available only as separate certificate programs into a single degree. For example, you can spend a year studying guitar followed by six months focused on professional recording skills, or combine intensive vocal training with writing and recording original music, or join drumming with film-making, with each combination leading to an Associate of Arts in Performance degree. Added to MI’s existing AA-Music Business emphasis, the new degree programs create an enormous number of options for students to customize their education while also qualifying for government financial aid and (for non-US students) F-1 visas.

For more information or to find out how to enroll, contact MI’s Admissions Office. Fall classes are filling now, so don’t delay!
