GIT Presents David Becker - February 7th Feb 07, 2006
On February 7, jazz and fusion guitarist David Becker returns to GIT for an afternoon of open counseling. Becker maintains a successful European career as a recording artist, composer and bandleader with seven CDs under his own name including his most recent, a duet with jazz guitar great and former GIT instructor Joe Diorio. He has also recently released a book on improvisation for Mel Bay. During his open counseling session, Becker will work with GIT students on their solo phrasing, improving their harmonic and melodic solo development, and getting into "the flow".
