Clinic with Wah-Wah Inventor Del Casher

|    May 13, 2009

On Wednesday, May 13, MI is proud to present guitarist and inventor Del Casher as he shares his fascinating and unique perspectives on the evolution of the wah-wah pedal and other influential guitar gear. Casher, a top LA session player who performed with Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention in the ¹60s, will reflect on his experiences as the developer of the first wah-wah pedal for Vox in 1967. Not only will Del bring the original wah pedal for students to study firsthand, he¹ll also display two of his other innovations: the Ecco-Fonic echo chamber and the guitar synthesizer.
