On Wednesday, February 27 VIT presents a clinic/performance with jazz vocalist Sunny Wilkinson and pianist Tom Garvin. Wilkinson’s impressive performing credits include work with The Count Basie Band, Rob McConnell and the Boss Brass, Clark Terry, Mark Murphy, Milt Hinton, Curtis Fuller, and Edgar Winter, among others. Garvin is known for his work with top-ranked vocalists including Carmen McRae, Peggy Lee, Johnny Hartman, Sarah Vaughn, Diana Krall, and Mark Murphy. The duo are preparing to release their new CD, A Gentle Time – When Sunny Meets Tom.
