Audio Post for Indie Films Seminar

On Wednesday, August 26 at 5:00pm in the THX- Certified Dubbing Stage MI’s Audio Engineering Department presents “Real World Audio Post for Indie Feature Films” with Woody Woodhall, President of Allied Post Audio in Santa Monica. The seminar will cover topics including sound management during editing, key concepts and tools for the audio post process, budgeting time and money, and the audio post workflow.

Mr. Woodhall is a supporter and advocate for independent filmmaking with numerous credits as Sound Designer and Mixer for independent feature films and documentaries. Some recent projects include Best Worst Movie (screened at the 2009 SXSW Festival), SilverDocs, Hot Docs and Team Taliban (screened at the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival). His TV credits include recording, sound editing and mixing hundreds of episodes of programming for VH-1 (All Access SPOTLight), Discovery’s The Travel Channel (Travel Daily, Get Away USA), USA Network (Ready For the Weekend Movie, Before and Afternoon Movies), Sony’s Game Show Network (Game TV, Extreme Gong), and Comedy Central (The Daily Show with Jon Stewart) to name a few.
