American Records A&R Rep Richard Csabai Provides Career Counseling

|    May 01, 2008

American Records A&R Representative Richard Csabai has joined with MI’s Artist and Career Services Department (ACS) to provide career counseling for MI students. Richard will use his major-label experience to give students valuable insights into how A&R departments operate and the do’s and don’ts of showcasing. He has also begun reviewing and offering critiques of current and former students’ original recordings.  MI alumni can make an appointment with Richard by contacting ACS Director Todd Berhorst at (323) 860-1118.

Richard, who graduated from MI’s Music Business Program (MBP) before landing his current position at Rick Rubin’s label, said, "MBP is one of the most comprehensive and real-world programs out there. The knowledge I gained from it gave me the ability and skills to succeed in multiple areas of the music business."
