ACS Seminar: Songwriting in a Do-It-Yourself World

On Tuesday, April 20 at 12pm in the Passage Performance Center, MI’s Artist and Career Services Department presents a special seminar on Songwriting in a Do-It-Yourself World. Hit writer-producer-arrangers Michele Vice-Maslin and Alan Roy Scott, who between them have written hit songs for artists ranging from Notorious B.I.G. to the Backstreet Boys, will offer practical advice on the craft of writing and pitching your songs in today’s music industry, including strategies for what to do after your school experience ends.
