On Wednesday, August 25, MI’s Artist & Career Services Department presents "You’ve Got A Deal! The Biggest Lies of the Music Business." During this revealing seminar, music industry veteran Jeffrey Weber will strip away lies and false hopes to present a realistic strategy – part talent, part persistence, and all attitude – for surviving and flourishing in an industry that is defined by uncertainty. During his eclectic three-decade career as an award-winning label founder, educator, music journalist, programmer, video director and voice-over talent, Jeffrey Weber has produced 175 CDs and won multiple Grammys for his work with artists ranging from Stanley Clarke, Etta James and Chick Corea to Billy Sheehan, Ritchie Blackmore and Ronnie James Dio.
