Sep 06, 2006

On Wednesday, September 6, GIT welcomes veteran funk-soul guitarist Wah-Wah Watson as guest lecturer for a very special edition of the GIT elective "Advanced Groove Concepts" (the class will be opened up to all MI students for this date only).

Watson has been a first-call session player for decades, with hundreds of recording credits ranging from "Papa Was A Rolling Stone" by the Temptations, Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On", "Smiling Faces" by The Undisputed Truth, Quincy Jones' "Body Heat", Herbie Hancock's Man-Child album, Off The Wall by Michael Jackson and Rose Royce's Car Wash to Alicia Keyes' Unplugged.
