MI is extremely proud to announce the return of GIT alumnus Paul Gilbert. During the month of October, Paul will be teaching special private lessons for GIT students, giving them a chance to jam and gain up-close instruction from one of the most influential guitarists in the world of shred. Paul's most recent appearance at MI was the release party for his new instrumental CD, Get Out of My Yard.

Paul is widely considered to be one of the finest rock guitarists of his generation. Since graduating from GIT, his highly successful career has included CDs and numerous tours with Racer X and Mr.Big as well as solo recordings and best-selling guitar instruction videos. MI Japan recognized Paul for his exceptional popularity in that country by bestowing the title of "Honorary Dean". Now based in the LA area, Paul returns to share his tremendous technique and musical talent with the students of GIT.
