A benefit concert in memory of virtuoso guitarist Shawn Lane will be held on August 28th at the New Daisy Theater on world famous Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee. Organized by Shawn's family and friends, the concert is primarily a celebration of the life and music of the outstanding musician who passed away on September 26, 2003. The second purpose is to raise funds to help offset expenses incurred by Shawn’s funeral and related legal matters.
