On Wednesday August 20th, GIT welcomes Swedish guitar virtuoso Andreas Oberg for his first MI clinic appearance.  Considered one of hottest young masters of jazz guitar on the international scene today, Andreas will display his exceptional bebop chops, “Hot-Club” Gypsy melodies, genre-hopping technical facility and powerful chord-melody solos.

Andreas has released four solo albums and performed with artists including Les Paul, Toots Thielemans, Bireli Lagrene, Larry Coryell, Barbara Hendricks, John Pisano, Martin Taylor, Stuart Hamm, Danny Gottlieb, Jimmy Rosenberg,  Frank Vignola, Bucky Pizzarelli, Howard Alden, Ulf Wakenius, Joey DeFrancesco, Mark Murphy, Stochelo Rosenberg, Angelo Debarre, Florin Nicolescu and more. He is currently touring worldwide in support of his new CD release, My Favorite Guitars.
