On Wednesday, July 14, Musicians Institute and The Musicians Foundation, in collaboration with the non-profit Hollywood Arts Foundation, sponsored an evening of vocal performances by aspiring artists at MI’s Green Room Café on Hollywood Boulevard.

The event showcased ten talented and enthusiastic Hollywood Arts-trained vocalists making their public debut before a highly supportive audience of fellow students, staff and friends. Each singer performed to tracks, demonstrating the results of vocal technique and performance training provided by Hollywood Arts alongside classes in Music Theory and Digital Music Production.

The Hollywood Arts Foundation provides free classes in arts, music and media to young adults aged 18 to 24 who are homeless, transitioning out of foster care, or separated from low-functioning or abusive families. Dedicated to education and empowerment through the arts, the foundation helps high-risk young people improve their self-esteem, develop thinking skills, master educational concepts and receive job-readiness training.
