On Thursday, July 8, MI welcomes Planet X to P-100 for a summer quarter kickoff concert.

Planet X, which includes MI visiting artists Derek Sherinian on keyboards and Virgil Donati on drums, has just added guitarist TJ Helmerich to the lineup. TJ is already well known at MI- he's a long-time RIT instructor and GIT open counselor...he even sings! TJ has worked both sides of the glass with his group Quid Pro Quo (featuring guitarist Brett Garsed) and engineered Scott Henderson's latest recordings, among many other projects. As part of Planet X, he adds his full eight-fingers-worth to an already overwhelming lineup of chops. Seatbelts recommended.
