On Thursday, July 31, GIT welcomes blues-rock guitar virtuoso, vocalist and songwriter Joe Bonamassa for an inspirational afternoon clinic.  Bonamassa was recently named Best Blues Guitarist of 2008 by Guitar Player Magazine’s readership, his second consecutive year to win that award.

Bonamassa is internationally renowned for his fluid phrasing and post-modern fusion of electric British blues, traditional Delta blues and rock ‘n roll chops. He has produced seven albums as a leader, with his eighth, Live from Nowhere in Particular, set for release in August 2008. His past performances have produced critical raves including:
