On Thursday, June 1 MI was featured on ABC Los Angeles Channel 7 Morning News. The story, which presented a brief overview of MI's programs and history, featured interviews with Keith Wyatt, MI's Director of Programs, as well as several current students. Wyatt commented, "Despite nearly thirty years in the heart of Hollywood, MI remains better known in the international music world than in its own home town. We're hoping that features like the one on ABC will let people know what a unique educational resource exists right in the middle of LA."
