On Tuesday, June 1st, MI and GIT are proud to present an exciting in-concert appearance by the Scott Henderson Trio featuring John Humphrey (bass) and Kirk Covington (drums/vocals) marking their return from this spring's European tour.

GIT grad Henderson first built an impressive reputation for his work with Chick Corea, Jean Luc Ponty and Joe Zawinul as well as co-leading the fusion supergroup Tribal Tech. He has since released three acclaimed blues-flavored trio CDs (Dog Party, Tore Down House and Well to the Bone). His unique combination of soul, intelligence, technique and taste have elevated him to the front ranks of the jazz, blues and fusion worlds, including rankings as #1 Jazz Guitarist in both Guitar World and Guitar Player Magazines. When not touring or recording, Scott conducts regular Monday and Tuesday open counseling sessions that have become a highlight of the weekly GIT calendar
