UK Offers Career Development Loans for MI Students! Jun 18, 2004
Musicians Institute has recently been approved by the UK Department of Education to offer Career Development Loans (CDL's) to our students from the United Kingdom. There are three elements to a CDL; Course Fees, Other Course Costs and Living Expenses. Individuals can apply for a loan to cover one or more of these elements and can borrow anywhere between £300 and £8,000 (about $14,600 at current rates of exchange). The loan can be used to cover up to 80 percent of course fees, plus up to 100 percent of any related expenses (books, computers, etc). If a student has been out of work for three months or longer at the time they apply to MI, he or she can apply for a CDL to cover a full 100 percent of their course fees. For more detailed information, please visit the CDL website.
