|    May 09, 2009

On Saturday, May 9 from 1pm to 6pm MI hosts Producers Conference, Los Angeles. Presented by Propellerhead Software, the Producers Conference is an interactive learning session where top artists and producers share their secrets. The theme of the LA conference is “Mastering Your Mix: How to Pump up Your Virtual Tracks” – don't miss out on this opportunity to get the inside track on advanced production techniques, song writing, mixing methods and more.

The Conference features workshops from Gerry Basserman, Director of Propellerhead’s North American Markets; Kurt Kurasaki (Peff), author of Power Tools for Reason 3.0; Bon Harris, a founding member of Nizter Ebb who has worked with Depeche Mode, The Smashing Pumpkins, Evanescence, AFI, Avril Lavigne, Bush, and Billy Corgan; and Kevin Teasley, music composer and sound designer for commercials, television shows, radio, and feature film trailers. The day will conclude with a Propellerhead product line Q&A.

Tickets for the event are $30 (admission is free for current MI students who show ID at the door); click here for more event and ticket information.
