| May 06, 2004
Who will the major labels be signing this year? How does your music fit into the marketplace? How do A&R executives make decisions on who to sign? These questions and more will be answered on Wednesday, May 12 as the Music Business Program presents an all-MI event featuring a panel of major label A&R directors discussing the current state of the industry. As part of the presentation, panelists Michael Howe (Virgin Records), Louie Bandek (Capitol Records) and Daniel Schulman (Island/Def Jam Records) will provide on-the-spot reviews and critiques of original recordings offered by MI students.
