Last September’s ole Pop & Urban Songwriters Camp, a week-long intensive songwriting session held at Musicians Institute under the sponsorship of ole, Canada’s largest independent music publisher, has yielded its first major writing success. Co-written by ole’s Tebey, Lonny Bereal, Tiffany Fred and The Runners, “Cause a Scene,” by Teairra Mari featuring Flo Rida will be the second single from the singer’s debut album for Fo Reel Music Group/Warner Bros. “The song was invented and written in your very own Studio C at MI during the Songcamp,” reported ole’s Jennifer Hyland, who is currently in the initial stages of organizing the next Songcamp for later this year.
