On Tuesday, May 4, astonishing 17-string New Orleans guitar player Phil De Gruy returns to GIT with his “guitarp” for an afternoon clinic demonstrating his virtuoso skills in the realm of solo guitar.
Guitarist Steve Vai, no stranger himself to the outer orbits of guitar performance, describes De Gruy in glowing terms:
