GIT Presents Jeff Linsky Concert/Clinic
May 24, 2007

Latin/Jazz flavored fingerstyle master Jeff Linsky’s trademark instrument is the requinto, a three-quarter-size Spanish guitar that he tunes a minor third above standard pitch. For thirty years, Jeff has performed around the world with the instrument in solo concerts and duets with other respected guitarists including jazz legend Jim Hall and Carlos Barbosa-Lima. Linsky has also recorded two Mel Bay instructional DVDs and eight solo CDs, received a nomination for “Contemporary Jazz Album of the Year” (NAIRD), a “Top Ten CD” award in Downbeat Magazine's Critics' Poll and inclusion in Downbeat ‘s “100 Greatest Jazz Albums of All Time”.

"Jeff Linsky’s talent is the stuff guitarists’ dreams are made of. He has met one of the greatest challenges in the guitarists' universe - and made it look easy."
