Jennifer Batten Concert/Clinic with Special Guests Seis Cuerdas

MI presents Jennifer Batten in her unique, multimedia one-woman show featuring the virtuoso guitarist performing in sync with films projected onto a giant screen. The performance will be followed by a Q&A with MI students. After graduating from MI, Jennifer became a GIT instructor before she was chosen by Michael Jackson to join his record-breaking Bad, Dangerous, and HisStory tours, culminating in his 1993 Super Bowl halftime show witnessed by a half-billion TV viewers. She has also toured and recorded with the legendary Jeff Beck, released solo CDs, authored music instructional books, and written a long-running column for Guitar Player magazine. BONUS: The mesmerizing Argentine nylon-string duo Seis Cuerdas, featuring brothers Martin and Ezequiel Etcheverry, will open with a set of their electrifying brand of acoustic music spanning classical to metal.
