On Tuesday, April 22 from 6-8pm in MI’s Studio D, KIT presents a special Video Scoring Session with Lisa Coleman.
Coleman became internationally known for her work with Prince and the Revolution through most of the ‘80s. With her partner Wendy Melvoin (and Trevor Horn), she wrote and produced Seal’s first three albums, and the duo made several records including wendy and lisa, Fruit at the Bottom, Eroica, and GIRL BROS. She has also worked with artists including Neil Finn, kd lang, Meshel N'dege o'cello, Sheila e, Erykah Badu, and Gwen Stefani. For the past few years she has been concentrating on scoring film (Something New, Dangerous Minds, Soul Food, The Third Wheel, Juwanna Mann) and television (Heroes, Bionic Woman, Crossing Jordan, Carnivale).
