On Thursday, April 16, MI welcomes the return of GIT graduate and visiting instructor Rafael Moreira and his band Magnetico in a special concert appearance. Since attending MI, Rafael has performed and recorded with artists including Paul Stanley (KISS), Pink, Christina Aguilera, Dave Navarro, Tommy Lee, Vasco Rossi, and Robbie Williams. He has appeared as house-band lead guitarist on TV shows including CBS’ Rockstar INXS and Rockstar Supernova as well as MTV’s Rocks the Cradle. Magnetico includes Corey McCormick (Bass; Chris Cornell, Vertical Horizon, The Big Pill) and Nate Morton (Drums; Paul Stanley Band).
