Vocal Clinic/Performance/Q&A with Vocal Instructor Shelley Speck
| Mar 01, 2012
MI’s Vocal Program presents a special performance, clinic and Q&A with renowned vocal instructor Shelley Speck. Shelley Speck’s career has included work in the recording studio, as a performing artist, and as a producer/writer for A&M Records Publishing Division, experience that she brings to her role as a teacher. Her techniques turn singers into artists, developing authenticity that allows students to find their own style while utilizing a standard technical foundation. With a specialty in pop/rock and R&B, some of Shelley’s students include Ashley Tisdale, Miss Ohio, Alisa Reyes, and currently former Pussycat Doll Kaya Jones. During this clinic students are encouraged to sing on stage and receive hands-on feedback (please provide music for the accompanist). Date: Thursday, March 1 Time: 12-1:30pm Location: Concert Hall
