Musicians Institute is proud to announce the creation of five new scholarships generously sponsored by D'Addario Strings and Evans Drumheads.

Beginning with the Fall 2009 class, the prestigious D'Addario Guitar and Evans Drum Scholarships will be awarded annually to guitar and drum students enrolling in MI's Associate of Arts in Performance program. The D'Addario Guitar Scholarship will be awarded to three applicants who demonstrate a high level of musicianship in their chosen style, and the two Evans Drum Scholarships will be awarded based on outstanding overall musicianship and versatility.

The D'Addario and Evans Scholarships are available to both U.S. and non-U.S. citizens. Students enrolling in October 2009 who wish to be considered must submit their applications no later than September 15, 2009 and award recipients will be notified within two weeks.
