On Thursday, January 17 the School of Rock All-Stars rocked the legendary Roxy. Among the crowd there to witness the show were Jane's Addiction/Satellite Party/Lollapalooza luminary Perry Farrell and Yes vocalist Jon Anderson. The show was filmed by MI's Film Institute of Technology, directed by MI Music Business instructor Michael Anderson (no relation). After an impressive show featuring the best of the bands from Paul Green's nationwide program for teenage rockers, Mr. Farrell commented on the value of contemporary music education, both for younger musicians and for the emerging professionals at MI (see accompanying video).
