On Thursday, February 26 MI presents Keyboard Instructor Cho Yoon Seung and his band (Hamilton Price, bass; Jimmy Brandly, drums; Joon Lee, vocals) in concert. Cho will be performing his original compositions as well as a Herbie Hancock Tribute. In Cho’s words, “The object of the concert is to create musical motivation and demonstrate the freedom of melodic, harmonic and rhythmic variety.”

A graduate of MI’s Keyboard program, Cho is preparing for his appearance at the 2009 Java Jazz Festival in Indonesia, where he will be performing with the Ron King Quartet and big band, New York Voice, and jazz/R&B legend George Benson.
