On Thursday, February 26th, Grammy Award-winning guitarist, former staff instructor and GIT graduate Michael Ward will return to his alma mater for a seminar/discussion on surviving in the music business.

Since his initial success with his band School of Fish, Mike has gone on to work with such outstanding artists as The Wallflowers (that’s Mike playing slide on “One Headlight”), John Hiatt, Gavin Degraw and John Doe, among others. This time around, Mike’s focus will be on three areas of concern for contemporary musicians: handling the music business, songwriting and technology.
