On Friday, February 19 at 1:00pm in Studio E, MI’s Audio Engineering Program presents a clinic with Grammy/Emmy-nominated engineer Eric Liljestrand.

Eric Liljestrand has received two Emmy nominations and eight Grammy nominations, including a win for Bill Frisell's Unspeakable. A long association with producer Hal Willner yielded two Robert Altman films, Wim Wenders' Million Dollar Hotel with U2, the score for Martin Scorcese’s Gangs of New York, and a season of Saturday Night Live. After engineering Lucinda Williams' West under Willner, he went on to co-produce Little Honey, which hit the Billboard charts at #9 and received a Grammy nomination for Best Americana Album. Eric also composed the scores for Top Secret Missions of the CIA, The Deepest Dive in the World and the theme for Secret Passages
