Laurence Juber GIT Clinic
Feb 10, 2004

On Tuesday, February 10, GIT proudly presents a master class by Grammy-award winning fingerstyle acoustic guitarist Laurence Juber.
Laurence has been voted #1 Guitarist by the readers of Fingerstyle Guitar Magazine and was honored by the venerable Martin guitar company with his own signature model. In 1978, Paul McCartney asked Laurence to become the lead guitarist for his band Wings, where Laurence remained until the band folded in 1981.
Juber's studio career has flourished with countless albums, movies and TV shows with such artists as George Harrison, Ringo Starr, The Monkees, Belinda Carlisle, Air Supply, The Alan Parsons Project, Rosemary Clooney, Al Stewart (Year Of The Cat) and Paul Williams. His playing was featured on the mega-platinum soundtrack to the movie Dirty Dancing and the Oscar-winning scores to Pocahontas and Good Will Hunting. His guitar has also been heard on numerous TV shows including Roseanne, Beverly Hills 90210, Happy Days, Home Improvement, Boy Meets World, Seventh Heaven Family Ties, and The Young And The Restless.
