On Thursday, December 6, GIT alumnus Paul Gilbert returns to his alma mater for a special clinic appearance. Students will have the opportunity to play classic rock tunes with Paul in a live band setting and ask questions of one of GIT’s most popular and successful grads. 

Paul is widely considered to be one of the finest rock guitarists of his generation. His highly successful career has included CDs and numerous tours with groups including Racer X, Mr.Big and the G3 Tour as well as solo recordings and best-selling guitar instruction videos. MI Japan recognized Paul for his exceptional popularity there by naming him "Honorary Dean".  Now based in the LA area, Paul regularly returns to GIT to share his tremendous technique and musical talent with current students.
