VIT Presents Les Coulter
Dec 05, 2007

On December 5 and 7, VIT welcomes Les Coulter for a special vocal seminar and open counseling. Les is a gifted singer, songwriter, and keyboard player who has composed and recorded feature songs for ABC-TV, recording artist Norman Brown (“It Costs to Love”, MoJazz Records), and Fresh Start Productions. He has been a featured singer and background vocalist for Joe Trumane (Geffen Records) and was featured vocalist on Saints and Praise Vol. 3. As a studio vocalist, Les has worked with some of LA’s top musicians including Abe Laboriel Jr., Abe Laboriel Sr., Jimmy Haslip, Grecco Buratto and Andrew Ford, to name a few. He is also the Musical Director for Cassi Coulter, a promising singer, songwriter, and guitarist (and Les’ daughter). His seminar will focus on vocal technique (particularly speech placement), performance, and how to stay viable as a working musician/vocalist.
