MI welcomes Jeff Blue to its Career Counseling staff beginning in January 2009.  Currently an A&R consultant for Jive Records and writer for Universal Music Publishing, Blue’s extensive resume includes positions as Senior VP-A&R and staff producer for Interscope Records and VP-A&R posts at Warner Bros. Records and Jive/RCA Records as well as experience as a music business attorney and writer for Warner-Chappell Music. He has worked with artists including Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Korn, Hoobastank, Macy Gray, and Better Than Ezra, among others, with combined sales in excess of 130 million records.

As part of MI's Artist and Career Counseling staff, Jeff will meet with students and grads to provide advice on developing their professional and creative careers as well as conducting seminars for the Music Business program.
