On Thursday, November 9, MI and ASCAP's Rhythm and Soul Team present a panel discussion entitled The Recipe: Making Hit Songs. Producers Alonzo "Zo" Lee, Jr. (Chingy's "Right Thurr", "One Call Away) and Nisan Stewart (Fantasia, "Truth Is", Busta Rhymes "Get Down") will join with songwriters Andre Merritt (Omarian, "Entourage"; Marques Houston, "Favorite Girl") and Michelle Williams (Destiny's Child's "Lose My Breathe", "Soldier") to discuss the ingredients of a hit song, from beats to lyrics and hooks.
