Live performing experience is an essential part of MI’s instrument and voice programs, and along with a record-setting fall enrollment the roster of Live Performance Workshops is growing and changing with even more styles and settings to choose from. Recent additions to the LPW lineup include:

A&R
Rehearsed, fully-prepared performers only; all styles; originals or covers. Every performance is critiqued by a record-company A&R professional - be prepared for honesty.
When: Mondays 4-6pm
Where: Passage Performance Center

Hip-Hop
Perform Hip Hop jams from back in the day to today with an emphasis in strong vocal execution and performance, sultry melodies, and funky rhythm interpretation in a song structured format.
When: Wednesdays 2-4pm
Where: Room 155

Hot 100
Perform current Billboard Hot 100 songs with tracks or live musicians.
When: Thursdays 4-6pm
Where: Room 150

Coachella
Alternative / cutting-edge / post-modern music.
When: Fridays 4-6pm
Where: Room 145
