On Friday, October 16 at 1:00pm in Studio E, MI’s Audio Engineering department presents a seminar with producer/songwriters Mark Jackson and Ian Scott on “How to Create a Successful Package.” The seminar is open to all MI students, including singers, musicians, engineers, and producers. Mark Jackson (a 1992 MI guitar grad) and Ian Scott are two of the most versatile producer/songwriters in the industry. They have worked as A&R, producer, engineer, and video coordinator for the likes of D12/Eminem, Ice Cube/Westside Connection, Josh Kelley, Pete Yorn, Tamar Davis, Mai Kuraki, Park Jung Ah, Nancy Sinatra, Hed Pe, Tatyana Ali, Young Life and have scored countless music placements in film, television, video games and advertising worldwide.
