Lenny White and Buster Williams in PIT/BIT Clinic
| Oct 14, 2004
On Thursday, October 14, PIT and BIT join forces to welcome drummer Lenny White and bassist Buster Williams for an all-star rhythm section clinic. Between them, White and Williams' credits extend across the entire jazz/R&B spectrum. White first drew wide notice for his work on Miles Davis groundbreaking Bitches Brew in 1969 and has continued to turn out numerous recordings both as a solo artist and accompanist. Williams has played, recorded and collaborated with jazz giants such as Art Blakey, Chick Corea, Dexter Gordon and Freddie Hubbard, to name very few. Their clinic will expose drum and bass students to both the subtlety and power of a stellar rhythm section team.
