On Wednesday, January 28, MI’s exclusive Hiring Hall talent showcase is holding keyboard auditions for Atlantic Records recording artist Sonny, seeking a classically-trained keyboardist who has a good, melodic musical ear and is also trained in electronic music. A US tour is planned for spring, so candidates must be willing to travel.

Hiring Hall auditions are exclusive to MI students and grads.  Artists, labels and management companies holding Hiring Hall auditions have included  Ashlee Simpson, Macy Gray, The Veronicas, Gwen Stefani, Lauryn Hill, Hoobastank, NIN, Finch, Margorie Fair, Zappa Plays Zappa, Maroon 5, The Missy Elliot Show, Burning Brides, BRMC, Lifehouse, Rob Thomas, Hillary Duff,  Rachael Yamagata, Jesse Mccartney, and Liz Phair.
