PIT Presents Walfredo Reyes, Jr.

|    Jan 10, 2007

Born in Cuba, raised in Puerto Rico and culminating his musical development in the US, Walfredo Reyes Jr. learned Afro-Cuban percussion techniques and traditions from the master, none other than his father, Walfredo Sr. Reyes married those principles with his love of the standard drum set to create a unique, global rhythmic style that melds the roles of drummer and percussionist into one instrument. Walfredo has played with an impressive list of international superstars including Santana, Christina Aguilera, Steve Winwood, Jackson Browne, Gloria Estefan, Ricki Lee Jones, Richard Marx, Sergio Mendes, Smokey Robinson, Robbie Robertson and Boz Scaggs.
