On Tuesday, January 10 VIT welcomes Carol Welsman for a special vocal seminar. Welsman is an internationally acclaimed singer and pianist whose expressive vocal styling and dynamic stage presence have captivated audiences around the world. She's been featured on Larry King Live, has written lyrics for various international pop artists including Celine Dion's "Baby Close Your Eyes", co-hosted the Billboard Jazz awards with Herbie Hancock and sold thousands of her own CDs. During the seminar she will talk about ways to make a living as a musician/vocalist, perform a song or two, and work with three VIT students on performance and interpretation.
