Marty Friedman Guitar Clinic: Free, Open to the Public

On Saturday, January 31, MI presents a special guitar event with Marty Friedman. Beginning at 4:00pm in MI’s main concert hall, Marty will conduct a one-hour rock guitar clinic followed by a brief concert featuring a special guest band.  The entire event is being filmed for an upcoming documentary. NOTE: this event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC (see details below).

Friedman is best known for his work with metal legends Megadeth, marked by over ten million albums sold, 27 gold and platinum records from around the world, and five Grammy nominations. His latest album, Music For Speeding, marks his solo debut on Steve Vai`s Favored Nations label. Marty is also a regular columnist for magazines including Guitar World, Young Guitar (Japan) and Burrn, and displays his multi-lingual skills during regular television appearances in Japan.
