A Day With Marty Friedman Jan 26, 2005
On January 26, metal guitar great Marty Friedman returns to GIT for a full day of jam sessions, on-stage performances with students in the "Applied Metal Guitar" class, and an afternoon of open counseling. During his stint with the multi-platinum band Megadeth, Marty sold over 10 million albums, received 27 gold and platinum records and was nominated five times for Grammy awards. His latest solo CD, Music For Speeding, marks his solo debut on Steve Vai`s Favored Nations label. Marty is also a magazine columnist with regular features in Guitar World, Young Guitar (Japan) and Burrn.
