Residing in Hollywood, CA and formed in 2011, Perceptionist is a refreshing take on progressive metal that is reminiscent of bands like Between the Buried and Me, Animals as Leaders, and The Human Abstract. The band features Jordan Nalley on vocals, Riley Brodersen and Lenny Pietrolata on guitars, Connor Coram on bass, and Edoardo Talenti on drums. Perceptionist formed when Edoardo and Lenny, two long time friends and bandmates, moved to Los Angeles from Bologna, Italy to attend the prestigious Musicians Institute. It was there that they met Riley, Jordan, and Connor, all of whom come from different parts of the U.S., and joined to create Perceptionist.
The band is currently recording and will be independently releasing their first full-length in early 2013. Perceptionist has been hitting the LA metal scene with numerous shows within the last months.

Miss Bloom is a new pop/electro solo project by Elin Blom.
Elin began playing piano and writing songs when she was 8 years old. At 11 she became the lead singer in an all-girl rock band which played on TV shows, participated in the Finnish Eurovision Song Contest and played gigs in Scandinavia and Russia. When she was 16 she participated in Swedish Idol, where she finished in the top 6. She moved to Los Angeles from Stockholm, Sweden in 2012 to attend MI and pursue a career in music.

Independent Artist student Anni Kannika left her country home in southern Sweden and came to Los Angeles in 2011 out of a passionate need to write and sing music. She lends her own unique touch to the singer/songwriter tradition, blending heartfelt vulnerability with the power and raw emotion of blues and rock.
Anni and her band recently won both the IAP showcase Artist Development - The Show as well as the Pro Performance LPW that features students’ original material. She is currently recording her first EP titled “Blue” and performing around Los Angeles. Her next appearance will be for the American Marketing Association Logo Launch and Celebration, Thursday, January 31st in MI’s Concert Hall, hosted by Bobby Borg.

Singer-songwriter/pianist Anna Beatriz was a fully accomplished musician even before she came to the United States from Brazil where she’d been studying, teaching, writing and performing since she was a little girl.
She’d released her first full-length album “Sobre Nos” before arriving in Los Angeles in 2011 to attend Musicians Institute. While at MI, she co-wrote the 90-minute “Caminhos da Independência – O Musical,” used by the city of Cubatao, Brazil to honor their annual celebration.
Anna graduated with her Associates of Arts Degree in Vocal Performance in 2012, winning the Outstanding Vocal Student Award. She has since debuted her brand new single “Beautiful Ride” at the Catalina Jazz Club, a world famous stop for many jazz greats including Marcus Miller and Chick Corea. She is currently recording an original EP and performing around Los Angeles.
