Wood, Doug Vocals
Douglas Wood has toured the U.S. with the award-winning rock a cappella group Chicago Voice Exchange and also performed as lead vocalist with the Stanley Paul Orchestra. His other notable performances include appearances on “The Today Show” (at the Illinois Governor’s Inauguration Ball for the White Sox and Halsted St. Market Days) and live performances on the WGN-TV, WJYS-TV and WCBR radio stations. Doug and his songs can be heard in the motion pictures Angels Don’t Live Here, Finders Keepers and The Promise. His additional credits include a 2001 JPF Pop Songwriting Award nomination, compositions for 12 original stage plays and musicals, and a BFA in Musical Theatre from Millikin University. At MI, Doug teaches Vocal Interpretation and Accent Reduction.
