Verbaten, Menno Bass
Born and raised in The Netherlands, Menno relocated to Los Angeles to attend Musicians Institute, studying with the likes of Steve Bailey, Billy Sheehan and Stuart Hamm. He graduated in 1998 as Outstanding Student and started playing the LA club scene, sharing the stage with artists such as Marty Friedman (Megadeth), Steven Adler (Guns ‘n Roses) and Mike Hartman (David Lee Roth). Although fluent in many musical styles, Menno specializes in Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, with a ‘heavy’ emphasis on ‘shred’ style bass and two-handed tapping. At MI, Menno teaches private lessons and the Metal LPW. Check out Menno at www.nihilistworkshop.com or www.thecauterized.com.
